TikTok is a fun making app which allows its users to create short videos and capture funny and memorable moments. The app is having over 1 billion downloads and is being widely used. However from last few days, the app facing many criticism in India.

The TikTok App is facing so much of criticism because of the recent developments like 'YouTube vs TikTok - The End' YouTube roast video, acid attacks on women glorifying video on TikTok and some anti-China sentiment has been growing with the spread of COVID-19.
The main propelling reason for down ratings of TikTok app is the removal of YouTube vs TikTok roast video by Ajey Nagar on his YouTube channel "CarryMinati". YouTubers and TikTok creators were arguing on which is better platform between YouTube and Tiktok. The argument received a boost after "YouTube vs TikTok - The End" video by YouTuber Ajey Nagar. In that video he roasted TikTok creators especially Amir Siddique, who was defending TikTok and opposing YouTube through his short videos on the platform.

The video posted by Nagar, in no time, broke many records on YouTube like Most liked non-musical Indian video, fastest video to get millions of like and many more. But the video was removed by the YouTube for "violating terms of service" and no specific reason was given by the YouTube on deletion of the video. The fans of Ajey Nagar started acting against TikTok by giving one star rating to the app on play-store.
While this issue was still going on, the brother of Amir Siddique, Faizal Siddique published a new controversial video on his TikTok account. The video was promoting the Acid attacks on Women. This new video proved to be 'pouring fuel on the fire'. And the people in India started using hashtag #bantiktok on twitter.

TikTok App's Ratings

The impact of the public outrage was seen chiefly on Google Play Store as the TikTok rating there dropped from 4.5 to 1.2 stars. However, Google started removing the negative reviews and ratings that people left for TikTok, citing the rules against posting the same review multiple times or from multiple accounts, and rules against posting reviews with an aim of manipulating an apps rating.
And after removing 2 to 3 million reviews, the TikTok ratings improved to 1.5 stars from 1.2 stars. At the time of writing this article, the TikTok app ratings on Google Play Store are 1.4 stars with 21 million reviews.

Google Pixel's new smartphone Google Pixel 4A arises on the GeekBench and showcased its benchmark score and performance before its launch.
As the Google has given unique codenames to each of its Pixel brand model, Google Pixel 4A has been given codename - "Google Sunfish".

The benchmark score is within the range of other Snapdragon-730 powered smartphones like Xiaomi's Redmi K20.

Google Pixel 4A Specifications

Google Pixel 4A ran on GeekBench V4 with some specifications being showcased. Let's go through the specs one by one staring with it's performance structure :-

RAM, Processor and OS

The device will run on Android 10 operating system powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor and having a base frequency of 1.80 GHz. Pixel 4A features 6GB RAM supported by Snapdragon-730 processor.

Display and Resolution

Other details are not provided by GeekBench but it is expected to have 5.81-inch OLED display having a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. And display comes with a punch-hole at the upper-left corner.

Battery and Charging

It's quite strange, as every new upcoming smartphones are being launched with larger batteries like 4000-mAh or even more but  Google Pixel 4A will have a 3080-mAh battery and it will support 18W fast charging. Rest we can see through its battery performance when it will be available to purchase.

Camera

Google is known for its camera optimizations and for providing more accurate details in pictures captured from its camera. This time as we can see it is coming only with single camera on both front and rear panel. Pixel 4A will have 8MP (24mm wide) front facing camera and 12MP single rear camera along with LED flash light in it.

Storage

It seems like Pixel 4A to arrive in two different storage variants. 64GB storage and 128GB of storage, and the consumer can choose as per its requirement and needs. It is being said that it will have two color options Black and Barely Blue.

Price and Launch 

The Google Pixel 4A's price may starts from $399 and in India it's price is likely to be Rs.39,999 for the lower memory option and will increase on higher storage variant . And it is expected to launch by May end i.e. May 22, 2020.

As we all know due to coronavirus (covid-19) everyone is following #StayHome #StaySafe that is why the usage of internet has been increased. Because people are spending most of the time online by doing various activities.
