Redmi 9 has been in talks for a while now. Earlier it was romoured to be launched in 3rd or 4th week of May. But, Xiaomi didn't launch it in May. And today, the company has unveiled the Redmi 9 in Spain with starting price of €149 i.e. around Rs.13,000. The first ever sale of the smartphone will start on June 18 while the pre-orders will begin on June 15.

With its launch in Spain, the price and specifications are confirmed. And these are almost the same as we discussed in previous post - Redmi 9, Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C - Price, Specs (Leaked).

However, Xiaomi still hasn't revealed the other two models of Redmi 9 Series.

Redmi 9 is a successor to the company's last year launched Redmi 8 budget smartphone. This new smartphone comes with quad rear camera setup and a huge 5020 mAh battery. The detailed specifications are given below :-
